~ VFWMG 4-4149 Activity Report ~

On Saturday, September 8, 2006 the VFWMG Unit 4-4149 met at the Post and traveled as a group to SerenityGardensCemetery for the dedication of their Veterans Memorial in observance of Patriot's Day.  

The motorcycles were a welcomed sight and the staff of SerenityGardens were pleased with the support shown by so many veterans. Members of Unit 1 were consulted in the building of the memorial. We were honored to be invited to participate.

One of our support group members conducted a presentation of the POW/MIA table and the new KIA flag.   

Teresa Galloway presented the POW/MIA table and the new KIA flag held by Felice Davis and Dick Galloway.

Others participated during the ceremonial laying of the military wreaths.

Cecil Davis represented the Marine Corp.

Our group was pleased to be invited and Unit 4 was well represented.  We continue to reflect positive exposure to the community.
