In observance of Patriot's Day
Unit 4 conducted and attended a candlelight service at the Permian Basin Viet Nam Memorial in observance of Patriot's Day.
Charlies "PaPa Smurf" Howell, President of VFWMG Unit 4-4149 was there to "supervise" as John Philbeck, one of the organizers of the memorial plants pampas grass around the base of the Huey helicopter.
There's

Members of the Unit and the support group were there to pay honor.
Teresa Galloway, support group member, did an outstanding job of presenting the POW/MIA table ceremony.
